201509 Pool Renovation Project

NS-SC.org -- Major Pool Renovation Project starting September 2015

After our spring Board of Directors meeting, we decided to delay the bath house renovation project with a start date of September 15, 2015, and a completion date of May 1, 2016.

With the weather delays, we did not want to risk not opening this Memorial Day 2015 Weekend.

The North Springfield Swim Club will be undergoing a major renovation project in September 2015. All reputable contractors are welcome to bid on this project. Our clubhouse was originally built in 1957. The scope of work will mainly include finishing the bathhouse/office and putting a roof over the entire structure.

The board will be accepting expressions of interest until February 1, 2015. The board will choose three contractors by February 6, 2015 and the expectation will be that construction needs to be completed by May 1, 2016.

Attached are a preliminary set of drawings to base your expression of interest on. We expect to have our mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings completed in the next week. Once you are selected as a finalist you will be given a complete set of drawings on which to bid. The board will award the contract on February 13, 2015. The project can then commence immediately.
